Soni asks her mother-in-law permission to go to mandir and she agrees saying it is something that should not be asked before going and further tells her not to go alone and to wait for Jyoti to go with her. Soni says she is going to the one near by so it is okay. Durga tells her to be careful and eat before she goes but Soni refuses and says she will come back and eat. Soni leaves to go and Cherry watches her. While Jeet is openeing his car to go out, he sees Soni and offer to drop her wherever she want to go but Soni refuses saying it is just here and she will be okay. Jeet says it is quite hot and it is safer to go by car. Cherry walks into her room and sees Soni getting in Jeet car and she gets angry. While Kamya and Mahi are dancing at the Sangeet function, Shabd's uncle gets up and says to bring some faster moves. They both tell Aunt Billo to join in but she refuses saying she need her husband to sing for her. Aunt Billo later joins in, puts the music on and she tells everyone to watch her. She does some moves and everybody join in and dance. Angad hears the music and stops to see, he opens the door and sees everyone dancing especially Mahi as she was in the center, he just watches her up and down. Suddenly Angad comes behind and puts his hand on his shoulder. Shabd looks serious and asks what he was doing. He looks inside and sees the ladies dancing. Shabd blunt out that he was looking at Kamya and tells him they should leave before getting in trouble. He goes to shut the door and stares at Mahi dancing. Shabd's uncle come behind and asks what they are doing, his uncle. then starts to watch his wife dancing and says she is so good at dancing. As everyone there starts wacthing, Aunt Billo spots the guys and starts looking at them, she goes towards the door and opens it and all three fall straight on to the floor. Everyone laughs. Aunt Billo tells her husband off and the guys say the ladies were not dancing properly. Aunt Billo says then they should have competition. Her husband says she is not on their level and they will not get anything from competing with her. Aunt Billo then tells him to atleast win and then talk.
Shabd's uncle and aunt start the competition and start dancing. Shabd's uncle turns his wife around so much that she ends up on the floor which means she looses and Shabd's uncle won. Kamya is on next with Angad and Aunt Billo tells her to take revenge for making her fall down. They start dancing on other music, Kamya made Angad trip and he fell straight on to the floor. the boys are angry and the girls are happy. kamya then pushes Mahi in the centre and she refuses, they push each other for a bit then start dancing and as they were close dancing, Mohini separates them and everybody then start dancing together. Angad watches Mahi who is in middle of the circle and joins her in the circle, he purposely gets closer to her and starts dancing, he tells Mahi she is looking beutiful and Mahi feels unconfortable. He tells her to come to the roof to meet him
On the other hand, Jeet and Soni walk into the mandir together. Jeet drops her to the stairs and Soni goes up and feels like fainting. Jeet turns around and sees Soni's state and is devastated. He quickly holds on to her before she falls, he tells her to sit and gives her some water. She feels better and tells Jeet to go but he refuses and they both go up together. They both do the pooja and walk down the stairs and when Cherry sees them together, she gets more angry and thinks of new ways to torment Soni.
Joyti goes with her father Mr. Khurana to the office but the car doesn't start. Parmeet comes to help and pulls up his sleeves. The scratch marks on his arm is shows. Jeet comes to help them too but before Jeet can see the marks, Parmeet realizes them and quickly moves his hand away and pulls down the sleeve. Jeet gives a tool to Parmeet to help him get the car started, but he does not get it and it falls on the floor. Jeet tells his father to go in his car and he agrees. Parmeet gets a look on his face.
Angad meanwhile goes to the roof and sees someone. He goes and puts his arms around her. He says he knew she felt the connection and it turns out to be Kamya. He is shocked. She admit to him that they do have a connection and asks why he didn't tell her he wanted to meet her and why tell Mahi to give her the message? She asks if he get shy too. Mahi watches all this from distance and Angad is thinking that Mahi won this round but he always win and not to be defeated.
At the Kurana's residence, while Jeet is in his room looking at a file, Cherry walks in after her shower. Jeet is annoyed to see her. Cherry asks how was his day and tells him that she saw him and Soni together. She taunts him for trying ways to get closer to Soni. She adds that the interesting style in the house is that they both are seperate but outside they are together. A flabbergasted Jeet screams at her to shut up! He tells her that if she don't the whole story then she should not talk and that the people who have dirty hearts, it becomes their eyes and they see everything dirty. As Jeet starts to walk away, Cherry stops him and says he is just angry and reminds him that she is his wife and she also have the right to know. Seeing that she is still holding his arm, Jeets tells her to let go. Cherry says okay but on one condition, and that is to stay here with her. Jeet declined and tells her that he will always say no to her and she can do watever she want but what she want to do with him will never happen! Jeet angrily leaves and Cherry says to herself that Jeet should not talk so big and it will break because what she want she have already planned that out.
While the engagement preparation are going on, both Shabd's uncle and aunt tell Mahi and Shabd that they hope the love between them stays the same forever and hope Kamya receives the same love and respect from Angad and his family. Shabd tells them they have nothing to worried about as Angad is very nice and his best friend and he knows him really well but Mahi is really worried for Kayla. Everyone is about to leave for Kamya's engagement when police shows up in they wants to arrest jeet for using physical violence with Cherry and asks for Jeet, they ask Jeet why his wife is not attending the function and he tells them she's not feeling well. They look for her and she is sitting in Jeet's room acting like she's been abused and hurt. The officer tell them that someone told them from the neighbourhood that he have been abusing his wife and it's a crime, they are about to arrest him but it was Parmeet who make the calls and when Cherry starts to act like she is fine and it's not Jeet's fault but she got hurt in the bathroom, she also begs the inspector to not arrest Jeet and the officer warns the family. Jeet is not convince as he feels she accused him of abusing her and that the police arrive at their house with the intention of arresting him. Cherry tells Jeet that she did this because he did not give her the right of bieng his wife and tells Jeet to accept her or he'll suffer. Jeet slaps her and tell her to go and talk to the police now as he doesn't care and he'll never accept her. The engagement preperations are going on and Kamya is really excited when Angad calls and starts to flirt with Mahi. Angad tells Mahi that he is happy, she picked up the phone but Mahi just passed it to Kamya. Mahi is worried about Kamya.
Mahi is getting ready for the engagement and her necklace gets stuck and she asks Shabd to help her. Mahi tells him to do it quickly but he just watches her. She asks why is he looking at her as if she is new. Shabd tells her she look different. She says she look like everyday. Shabd plays along and says yes sure she look like everyday and he compliments himself that he look handsome today. She says he is mad and serious. He asks what can he do if his wife does not compliment him and that she is in her own world. She tells that he is the most important to her and they both hug each other. Angad comes there and Mahi lets go of Shabd and tells him someone is there. Shabd walks away irritated and Mahi is confused. Angad comes back and is trying to click Mahi's pictures watches as she gets ready. Kamya is irritated that the preperations are still being made, she then ask about Angad. Kamya sees Angad is looking in Shabd's room and Angad also senses someone behind him, he turns and sees her there. Kamya asks what he was doing. He just says he came to get camera and they both walk off. The Khurana's family come in and meet each other. kamya takes Mahi with her that the Shava track havecstarts and all couples start dancing and enjoy with each other. At the end of the song, all the girls get a veil to find their partner and the guys have to find their women. Angad tries to get Mahi but she grabs Shabd and then everybody clap for them but Shabd and Mahi are still in the veil.
Someone call out saying what a couple as they still look newly marrried. Kamya point out that it's her engagament and not theirs. Shabd and Mahi look embarassed. Mohini announce they should start the ceremony now. Shabd says on stage that he is happy his siter is getting engaged to his best friend. Angad's father agrees with it and says he don't think he will have to worry about his son and asks Shabd if he think they will be adults after marriage or just fight like kids. They all laugh over it. Shabd says he don't think they will change but they should not because if they stay friends like him and his wife Mahi then things work out better, he also gives examples of his uncle and aunt. Mohini ges Kamya the ring, Kamya picks up Angads hand and is about to put the ring in when he stops her. Everybody looks shocked. Angad tells Kamya that he can't get married to her. He then says he want Mahi's acceptance to this engagement. Everybody is shocked and tell him to stop joking on his engagement day. He asks Mahi for his ring. She is confused and Angad tells her to look in her bag. She does and finds the ring. They get engaged and hug each other while Angad looks at Mahi and all the time she feels uncomfortable.
Everybody have a family photograph after Kamya suggests it couple pictures to be taken. Angad wants to stand near Mahi so he tells mohini to stand near Kamya and he moves towards Mahi. Mahi does not like it while Angad looks at her. Mahi indicates Shabd to move so she can stand next to Kamya but Angad does not like it as everyone is enjoying the engagment. Soni congratulates Kamya and says it was a great function. Kamya says there's more and the best bit is for the end. Soni is confused while Kamya goes in the centre and anounces to everyone that she wants a present from a singer that is in the funcion to sing for her, she turns to Jeet and he is shocked. Jeet says he can't sing but then everyone start clapping. Jeet does not know what to sing and Kamya whisper something in his ear and Jeet looks at Soni and so does she. Jeet remembers moments of him and Soni when Soni tells him to sing for her and he says okay and that the song is only for her. He sings the same song in the function, the couples go in the centre and start dancing and while all the couples move around, Mahi ends up with Angad and she is trying to get out of his grip but he won't let go of her. Mahi manages to pushes him away and ends up in Shabd's arms. Soni and Jeet look at each other. Just then, Cherry comes in the centre and starts clapping. Everybody is shocked to see her.
Cherry comes in the centre and looks at Jeet. Mohini comes towards Soni and asks what Cherry is doing at the function. Cherry reminds Mohini that there is a function in the house and she is Jeet's wife and she should be here and it's her right to come for the function. Mahi comes forward and asks what right is she talking about, what is she doing in her house and who said she is allowed to step in, she warns Cherry this is her house which has no space for people like her and asks her to get out from her house. Cherry says fair enough but she have not come for Mahi, but for her husband, Jeet and she have to be where he is and that she don't think she ( Mahi )know that she have come back in her husband's house and life. Everybody is shocked while Cherry asks how long can a wife stay away from her husband and Mahi should know better than her. Mohini asks who let her enter the house and she looks back at Durga. Cherry tells Jeet to tell everyone. Mahi says she have never seen a shameless person like her, and that these people are only quiet because they are respectful people and did not chuck her out of the house as she is so shameless to go back in the house. Cherry asks Mahi, what's it to do with strength if a wife will not go to the husband's house so where will she go. Mahi asks if she call herself a wife and asks if she know the meaning of it?. She reminds Cherry this is india and not Canada and that after marriage relations have to be kept with husband and in-laws, and she need to love both as well, and asks what did she do? But she kill the son of the family she married in and she call herself a wife. Mahi pulls Soni forward and tells Cherry to look at her, and proudly says her sister is a good wife but she took every colour away from her, and then she ( Cheery ) have the guts to walk in her house? She again tells her that there is no place for her in her house and angrily asks her to get out. Cherry points at her and asks who is she to tell her what to do and what not to do? And that nothing happens when they all think things but if the court has said she is innocent then she is. She adds that her sister is ready to apply vermillion again and that too by snatching somebody elses husband. Mahi and everybody are shocked. Cherry tells them not to look at her like that because it is the true. Mohini tells her not to blame Soni. Mahi tells her mother not to explain because there is no point in doing so and that it is bad for them to talk to a person like that. Cherry get furious and tells her to mind her tongue, she points a finger at her and Mahi holds it pulling it away. Cherry tells her to leave her hand but Mahi tells her to get out. Kamya tells Mahi to stop it and pulls there hands away and tells Shabd it is important for all this to happen today. Shabd asks for a minute, he goes in the centre and thanks everyone for coming and giving there blessing to the couple. They all leave and Mahi tells Shabd to tell Cherry to get out of the house but Cherry refuses saying she won't until her husband leaves. Mahi says she do not want a low girl like her in her house. Kamya goes up to her and asks Mahi stop, that it's enough that she have already ruined her engagement funtion and what else did she want to ruin. Kamya adds that she did not know she ( Mahi ) was jealous of others happiness. Shabd tells Kamya to calm down and that Angad will understand. Cherry smirks seeing that Kamya blame Mahi for everything. Kamya rudely tells Mahi that she ruined the best day of her life. Mahi is in tears as Kamya is hell bent on the idea that she is trying to destroy her happiness.
While Soni is near Veer's picture, Jeet walks down the stairs and looks worried. He calls Soni and she stops. Jeet apologises to her for not doing anything when Cherry insulted her at Kamya's function. Soni tell him not to worry that it was not his fault and she know he felt bad as well. Jeet says he could have stopped her from saying anything to her. Soni again tells him not to worry because she have forgotten everything and it does not make a difference to her, she adds that she love Veer and only God knows that, Bebasi Dard Ka Alam song plays in the background. Jeet walks away and Soni looks at Veer puictre. Jeet watches Soni from the stairs then leaves while Sona Sona song plays in the background with Soni and Veer flashbacks. Mahi meanwhile is lost in thought about what happened at Kamya's engagement. Shabd try to talk sense to Kamya and explaining to her that if something happened to her like what happened to Soni wouldn't she want someone like Mahi to stand up for her? Kamya says she understand why Mahi did what she did, she had full right to say whatever she did to Cherry but she shouldn't have done it at her engagement because she didn't do it for Soni and she did this to ruin her engagement. She adds that Mahi could have moved her aside and said this to Cherry. She further tells Shabd that she know Mahi now as she doesn't want her and Angad to get married. Shabd says she doesn't trust Angad but she wants her to be happy and that Mahi was ahead on every plan for the engagement. He adds that she is doing this for her happiness and that they both are the 2 most important people in his life and he can't see them fight each other like this. He reminds Kamya that she is about to leave and plead with her to have fun like before, and again begs her to do it for him.
