TUESDAY UPDATE ON BRIDE WITH BENEFIT EPISODE 4/6
The episode starts with Dev’s brother Ayodhya entering examination hall and interrupting exam. Examiner gets afraid seeing him. Ayodhya says it is his parent’s marriage anniversary today and he wants his brother Dev right now. He dismisses exam for the day and takes Dev in his bike. Dev says he would have let him finish exam. Ayodhya says exam will be tomorrow.
Ayodhya’s children Sonu and Bunty are shown practicing Ramayan drama and creating haoc. Dev’s dad asks them to stop and says their mother creates kurukshetra at home and he does not need ramayan. They ask to give 50 rs as bribe to keep their mouth shut. Dad hesitantly agrees and hands over money to them. Ayodhya and Dev reach home and they ask 20 rs to not create havoc at tonight’s function.
He agrees and gives them money. Sister says he is spoiling kids. Ayodhya says they are his children and can do anything. Sister says even she is his sister.
Dev greets his dad’s friend. Friend says he is happy seeing Ayodhya as a big contractor of the city and Dev trying to become bank manager. Conversation continues. Friend asks about Ayodhya’s wife Gulkan. Just then, a lady shouts at servants to bring hot water. She scolds servant for bringing it late, keeps foot in water and throws water on servant’s face, asks to get more hot water. Ayodhya comes and asks if she did not get ready yet. She says she is angry. Servant says palanquin has come.
Dev’s mother asks him why palanquin has come. Dev says it is for her. Mom starts his filmy style conversation. Sister informs that Ayodhya and Gulkan are fighting. Gulkan is seen holding palanquin and asking Ayodhya why did not he tell her about palaquin. He says he forgot. She says then she should forget palnquin also. Mom comes and asks what is happening. Gulkan continues provoking Ayodya. Ayodhya is about to hit her when mom stops him and says they both can use palanquin. Gulkan says she will sit alone. Mom thinks even she will sit alone.
Bhuvaneshwar is busy reading book. Payal comes home sadly. Dad asks what is the issue. She says once she buys car for Rajat, they can tell he bought it. He asks why should he. She says Rajat will not accept car from her as she is younger to Rajat. Dad says it is true inferiority does not come with age alone.
Ayodhya and Dev greet guests in. Gulkan’s brother and SIL come and Dev converses with them and greets in. Dev then addresses guests and gives speech about his parents and family. Dev’s dad comes on horse like a groom. Everyone clap for him. Dev and Ayodhya help him get down. Palanquin comes and Dev says mom is coming in it. Everyone are mesmerized to see beautiful palanquin and clap. Gulkan comes out instead and everyone are surprised to see her. She scolds palanquin carrier for carrying it roughly. Dad’s friend asks where is mom.
The episode starts with Gulkan coming in palanquin instead of Dev’s mom. Dad’s friend asks where is mom. She says she is coming. Mom comes dressed as bride with 2 ladies. Guest asks when uncle came on horse like a groom, why did she come walking instead of coming in palanquin. She says she came in this house walking when she got married, so she wanted to come walking even now. Everyone clap and Gulkan gets jealous. Dad and mom exchange garlands and then cut a hug e cake. They then sit on stage like bride and groom.
Gulkan to crate a drama asks DJ to play a s*xy song. He plays Ye dunya pittal di…baby doll mai sone di…song. She dances s*xily in a mujra style while Ayodhya and family watch angrily. Men join her and throw money on her. Irked Ayodhya stops
music and drags her fromt he party venue. She stops and slaps him in front of all guests. Ayodhya shouts. She asks him to dare not touch her, else she will cut his hand and stuff it in his back.
Gulkan walks into her room after slapping Ayodhya. Her sister-in-law follows her and asks why did she slap her husband. She says she brought a huge dowry and have come to rule.
Dad Jogeshwar tells his friend that he did mistake by taking drowy from Gulkan as she is trying to rule over them arrogantly. Friend says there is nothing wrong in dowry. Jogeshwar says time has changed and dowry is a menace now, girls think the can do anything after paying dowry.
Payal calls on Dev’s phone and Ayodhya picks it. She tells she is Payal and works as engineer in PWD, asks if he will do his work or not. Ayodhya says he has gone out and will let him know once he comes back. She scolds and cuts call. Jogeshwar tells his friend that he needs service wali bahu for Dev as she will earn money whole life. Ayodhya gives Dev phone and says a girl has called. He says someone wants to buy car and by mistake called him, he does not even know who she is. Ayodya says her name is Payal and she is PWD engineer.
Payal tells Bhuvaneshwar that she had spoken to an executive regarding car loan, but he did not pay heed at all. He says she can complain to her boss. She says he may lose job, so she does not wan to and is thinking of taking someone else’s help. Dad smiles and tells Neelu that her sister is so sensitive. Mom comes and asks dad why don’t he spend time with his son instead of always being with daughters. He says he can speak to son whole life, but daughters will go to their homes after marriage soon. Payal and Neelu get emotional and hug him.
Gulkan comes down and asks Ayodya that she wants to have kulfi outside. He gets irked and says there is a lot of sweets at home. She shouts at him. Dev says he will take her out and leaves. Dad who is very irked asks Ayodhya to do something to this arrogant woman. He says he has taken dowry from her, now he wants her to take her to cliff and push her down or get her accident. Mom asks how can he think about his bahu like this. He asks her to go to her room yelling.
Dev takes Gulkan and his sister out to a kulfi shop. Sister says she needs rabdi jalebi. Dev leaves to get it from nearby shop. Two goons come and start misbehaving with sister. Gulkan comes to her rescue and confronts goons.

Scene 1
Leela tries to wake up her husband, Twinkle is knocking on door, husband becomes conscious, she says Twinkle is outside, husband says Twinkle should not see me now, Leela thinks whats the problem, one side is my daughter and otherside is my husband, husban says dont worry, i wont let Twinkle know this secret, he is about to fall down but Leela holds him, Twinkle knocks door and is worried for Leela, Leela asks husband to hide in room, she takes him and brings first aid, she cleans her wound, husband asks her to go and see Twinkle, Leela says blood is not stopping, he says i am fine, you go, Leela says you do bandage, i will come.
Twinkle thinks that i have to break door, i should call Kunj first, she is about to call Kunj but Leela opens door, Twinkle cries and says why were
you not opening door? she hugs her, Leela says i was not getting sleep so i took sleeping pill, i was sleeping, Twinkle says dont make me afraid again.
Twinkle asks Leela how is she? i am thinking to stay with you tonight, Twinkle says there is no need, i am fine, Twinkle says you are my mom and dad, i wll not be at peace thinking that you are ill, Leela says you are not much away from me, your house is near, go to your home, Twinkle says i will call Babee, she will let me stay here, Leela says i am telling you to leave, go now, Twinkle says you havent forgiven me? Leela says nothing like that, its just that people dont like duaghter to stay at mother’s place after marriage so you should go, Twinkle asys ok i cant go against you, i will go but if you feel weak then call me, Leela agrees, Twinkle leaves, Leela says i wanted you to stay here but there are some problems that need to taken care of.
Leela says to her husband that take medicines, he says whats the need for all this? she says so you become fine and leave my house, husband says i have made you tensed, i will leave now, he feels dizzy, she says you cant go, he says i have alrady given you tension, i should leave, Leela says you have given me tension as much as you wanted, now you should stay here tonight and when you feel better then leave, he asks if she is sure? she nods, he holds her hand and thanks her, she looks at him, he removes her hand and says you are still same, you cant see anyone’s pain, Leela says you are right, human never change but situations changes, even if there was some stranger, i would have done same, i took care of you for humanity, Twinkle calls Leela, husband asks her to keep it on speaker, he wanna listen Twinkle’s voice again, she says atleast you listened her voice but didnt allow me in all these years, she goes to talk to Twinkle.
Twinkle asks Leela if she is fine? she is feeling weak? she asks Leela to take care of herself, if you need me then call me, she ends call, Kunj asks what happened to leela? Twinke says she was feeling dizzy, i gave her medicines, Kunj says you should have been with Leela, Twinkle says Leela asked me to go so i had to leave, Kunj says you never listen to me then why did you listen to her when it was not needed, you should have been with her, Twinkle says dont make me feel guilty, she cries, Kunj gives her handkerchief and says dont cry, Twinkle wipes her tears and nose, Kunj says you will have to wash it now, Twinkle says sorry alongwith tears, nose flows too, Kunj says its okay, your husband is rich from heart, i have plan, make some good food for Leela tomorrow, she will feel better, Kunj says she can get more ill with your prepared food, Twinkle says what you mean? i made bad food? i prepare lunchbox for you, i will not make it now, Kunj says you are warning me? she says yes, Twinkle says you wanted to distract me thats why you are fighting? you seem smart but you are not, you wanted me to stop crying, Kunj says i am smart, Twinkle wipes her nose again with his handkerchief, Kunj makes weird face and leaves, Twinkle smiles.
Scene 2
Twinkle wakes up on alarm and says i woke up today on time, wow, she finds Kunj sleeping on couch, she comes to him and looks at him lovingly, she thinks that he is sometime bitter, somtime sweet, sometime angry young man, he has so much mood swings but he seems so calm when he is sleeping, once his wake up, he will start fighting again, she tries to take book which is beneath Kunj’s head, she leans towards him and takes book, her Mangalsutra gets stuck in his shirt, Twinkle gazes at Kunj and thinks that i believe in God’s signs but why these filmy things happen with me? if Kunj wakes up then he will tease me again, she tries to disentangle mangalsutra, Kunj puts hand around her and brings her more closer, Sajna ve plays, Twinkle disentangle her mangalstura and covers Kunj with blanket, she is about to leave but slips and falls on Kunj, Kunj wakes up and says seems like wall fell on me, is there earthquake? he asks Twinkle what she is doing upon him? Twinkle says i feel by mistake, Kunj says is this new way to make me up, he tries to make Twinkle move, they both fall from couch, he says dont you feel shame? Twinkle says i was just covering you with blanket, Kunj says you wanted to take advantage of me, Twinkle says are you Ranveer Singh? Kunj says even you are not deepika padukone but for Mr. India like me, Miss Amristar like you is fine, Twinkle nice joke, you know Mr. india can vanish, Kunj says i am infront of you now but if i vanish then you will miss me, Twinke says nothing like that, i slipped on you, Kunj says your intentions were wrong, i dont trust you, Twinkle says you keep fighting with me, i will tell babee, she leaves, Kunj says good morning.
Twinkle asks Kunj to come out of washroom, he is getting late, your coffee is getting cold, she sees Maya’s message on Kunj’s phone that they should meet after college, Kunj comes and says you are checking my phone like typical wife, Twinkle says i just saw it by mistake, Kunj sees message, Twinkle thinks that he is making many plans to meet her, he told me whole history of her, Kunj asks where is my coffee? Twinkle says make yourself, this is my coffee, Kunj says but you made it for me, Twinkle says i made it so now i am drinking it, Kunj says give it to me, dont fight, Twinkle says what will you do? Kunj snatches coffee from her and drinks, she snatches coffee from him and drinks, Babee comes and says when husband and wife drinks from one cup then this is love, Twinkle says he is fighting with me, Kunj says she was not giving me coffee, Babee says all i know is that love increases when coupel drink from one cup, she says we have to go to meet Leela and invite her for Lohri, also we will take what Twinkle made for her in lunch, she leaves, Kunj drinks coffee.
Leela looks at sindoor sadly, husband comes there, she asks why did you come here? you need something? husband says i have already irritated you, husband feels dizzy, his phone falls, Leela bends to pick it up, he feels dizzy and tries to take support by holding table, sindoor falls from table and falls on Leela’s forehead, she is stunned, he says i am sorry, i got dizzy and this happened, bell rings, Leela says it must be twinkle, she wipes sindoor, covers her head with dupatta and asks him if he can go to his room? he says yes, she leaves.
Twinkle, babee and Anita comes to Leela’s house, Twinkle asks Leela how is she? Leela says i am fine, why you worry so much, Babee says she is daughter so naturally worried for you, thank God you are fine, Leela says its because of Twinkle’s care, Twinkle gives food to Leela, Babee invites Leela for Lohri and says you have to come there, Anita thinks that dont know when we will go from here, she sees sindoor in Leela’s forehead, she is shocked, she asks Leela about it, Leela gets shocked, she says actually i was cleaning cupboard, there was sindoor, it fell on my forehead, i tried to wipe it but coulnt, babee says you just take care of yourself, Anita thinks that why i feel she is lying, i have to find whats going on in her mind.
Scene 1
Leela greets Twinkle and Babee, some sound comes from room, Twinkle says who is there? i will go and see, Leela tries to stop her but she goes, Leela, Babee and Anita come behind her in room, Leela thinks that Twinkle shouldnt know about her father, husband isnt in room, Twinkle asks whose suitcase is this? Leela says i was clearing my cupboard so i brought it out, Anita thinks that Leela is freaking out, i have to find out whats going on with her, Leela’s husband is hiding behind curtain and smiles at Twinkle, Leela says i will make tea for you all, Babee says no need for formality, we are own people of yours, Leela takes them from there, Anita sees someone shoes behind curtain, she thinks that Leela is having affair, she shows herself so pious but in actual is having affair,
i will insult her now and it will be fun.
Twinkle is getting ready in her room and says Kunj hasnt returned till now even today, its Lorhi today, he must be spending time with Maya, i dont care about it, this is my first lohri so i will enjoy it, my husband doesnt care, he must be with my Maya, Kunj comes there, Twinkle thinks that he got late and still not saying sorry, he is not even telling why he got late, Kunj asks her why she is not ready? Twinkle says i should be askinh you this question, why you got late? Kunj says i told Maa that i will come late, Twinkle says why you didnt tell.. nothing, Kunj says you are saying that i should have called you? why are you behaving like typical wife like i have to tell you about everything, where i go and all, Twinkle says i should know, what if Babee ask me about you? Kunj says you always use Babee’s card, i am going to get ready, Twinkle says i have taken out your clothes, Kunj looks at her and takes clothes, he thanks her, Twinkle asks why you got late? Cherry is sitting outside Leela’s home and calls Anita, he says i havent seen any person coming out of Leela’s house, Anita says that means man is still with her, she is having affair, Cherry asks if she is sure as we got failed in our snake plan too before, Anita says we got failed because of your foolish, now keep eye on Leela’s house and tell me when man comes out.
Leela comes to her husband, Husband says sorry i mistakenly made noise and Twinkle came in room, Leela asks about his health? he says i am fine, she says so you will go tomorrow from here, he says i wanna see Twinkle for one time, Leela says no you will have to stay away from Twinkle and her in laws, Husband says one day truth will come out, Leela says the truth which can destroy 4lives shouldnt come out, husband says i know you also want Twinkle to know me and also want.. Leeela says what i want? i want nothing, i havent forgotten your cheating, you kept lying to me all these years, ;leave my house, husband says i will leave but tell me why did you put sindoor in your forehead? Twinkle comes in lohri function, dressed nicely, Kunj sees her and says Miss Amritsar, Babee blesses Twinkle and makes Kunj stand beside her, she says your wife is looking very nice, Kunj says she is looking same like everyday but yes make up is more, Twinkle says see Babee, he teases me this way everytime, Babee says i can see everything.
Lohri function starts, Kunj and twinkle are taking rounds around fire, Twinkle says you are jerk, i dont like to talk to you, Kunj says i know you are miffed with me because i didnt praise you, anyone can look pretty by putting make up, Twinkle says you are so cold, Kunj sees Maya coming, he welcomes his college friends and makes Twinkle meet them, Maya says to Twinkle that she is looking pretty, Kunj takes maya with him and dances with her, Twinkle looks at them, Twinkle slips but Kunj holds her in time, they share eyelock, Sajna ve plays, Kunj starts dancing with Twinkle, Twinkle smiles and dances with him.
Leela comes in function, Twinkle says you missed dance, Leela says i had some work, Twinkle says you dont take rest, Babee says let her do rituals first, Leela is covering her head with dupatta, a guest asks her, Leela says i have asked God something so i am wearing this dupatta for it, Anita brings aarti plate to Leela, Babee says what are you doing? this is for newly wed wives, Anita says i dont want Leela to blame me for anything, Babee says what are you saying? Anita says Leela havent tell anyone so let me tell you, either Leela has got married or she is going to get married soon, all are shocked, Twinkle says you are insulting my mom, Anita says dont get miffed, this is good news, your mom’s loneliness will go away and you will get new dad, Twinkle says you cant blame my mother like this, Anita says ask your mom, Babee says Anita do you even know what you are saying? Anita says to Leela that they are not agreeing to what i am saying, why dont you remove your dupatta and show them your forehead, you cant hide sindoor for much time, Kunj says Anita aunty enough, i know you like to make issues infront of all but you are crossing limit, i cant listen these things against my mom, Anita says son in law should be like you, you dont know what is going on in her life but still taking her side, she says to Leela that i will remove her dupatta, she is about to remove dupatta from her forehad but Twinkle holds her hand and says dare you touch my mom else i will forget your relation with me, my mother has promised God to not remove this dupatta and no one can touch her, Anita says you are getting angry when i am pointing finger at her, what will you do when whole world will be pointing fingers at her? you were always proud of your mom being pious, what will you do now, the man with whom she is having affair is still in her house, Kunj says how can you put such cheap blame on her, Leela says you always do these kind of cheap things but i know nothing will happen to me, Anita says why arent you accepting that you are in love at this age? Twinkle says she wont stop till we prove her wrong, Twinkle says okay we will go there and prove you wrong, she asks Leela to come, Leela gets tensed, she goes with Twinkle.

The Episode starts with Ishita challenging Raman to have drinks. He sits with her and asks her to drink. She calls him a rat and makes a peg for him. She says I will choose some young man and drink with him. He asks her to see and finishes the bottle. He says you finished it. She says challenge was 50-50, I would have done what you do. He asks her to then take another challenge. He removes his shirt. She is drunk and says I will remove saree. He says no, don’t remove it. She asks then tell me what to remove. He asks her to get rid of her drunken state. She asks him to say what to do, its no fun, I will win. He runs away from her and asks whats wrong with you, get away. They fall on the bed. They have an eyelock. She hugs him. Yeh hai mohabbatein……plays……………. Raman looks at her.
They fall asleep.
Ruhi smiles recalling Pihu. She says she is cute, full of life, we had fun like two sisters. She thinks where is Ishita and looks for her. She says it means Ishita did not come at night. She calls Aaliya and asks about Ishita. She says ya, maybe I woke up late, maybe she went for morning walk. Ruhi thinks where did Ishita go. Ishita is with Raman. Ruhi does not see Raman’s car in compound and asks watchman. Watchman says Raman did not come at night. She says this can’t happen. Raman and Ishita can’t be together.
Ruhi goes to Amma. She tells Amma that Raman threatened to harm Ishita, I m worried for Ishita ji. Amma says don’t worry, I will see Raman, Ishu did not call me. Amma goes to Bhalla house and asks Simmi about Raman. Simmi asks her not to create issue. Neelu says Raman is not in her room. Amma says even Ishita is not at her home, Raman threatened her in party, now Raman is missing and Ishita is also missing, what did he do. Simmi says they are not little kids, if they went together, they will come back. Shagun hears this and thinks Raman and Ishita did not return home.
Mihika asks Romi why is he worried. Romi says I saw Niddhi at Ashok’s house yesterday. Mihika asks how is this possible, she died 7 years ago. Romi says our family broke because of her, I asked Ashok, he denied and is hiding Niddhi from us, it means something big thing is going to happen, I have to find out, Ashok named her in party and disappeared, if she is really alive, its imp to catch her. Mihika cries and says if Niddhi is alive, its possible that Ruhi is also alive. He says Ashok should not know that we know about this. She says yes, just Niddhi can say truth about Ruhi, Ishita will get mad by happiness, we have to tell this to Ishita. He says yes right, we should tell this to Ishita right away, come.
Shagun goes to hotel. Manager says Raman was shouting on guests and was over drunk, we were controlling him and then his wife went out of control, you inform their family. She says family is worried for Raman, when did they leave from party, did Raman go with his wife. Manager says when Sir saw his wife in drunken state, he asked me to book a room. She asks is he in this hotel. He says sorry, I can’t tell you. She says we are family, its really urgent. He says wait, and asks lady to call Raman. He says sorry, Raman is not receiving call. Shagun requests him. He says fine, come with me.
Shagun asks manager to use master keys, there can be emergency. He opens the door for her. Shagun enters the room and sees the couch, table and everything around messed up. She finds Raman’s shirt on the couch and turns to see. She gets shocked seeing Raman and Ishita sleeping intimately.
Shagun wakes up Raman. Raman and Ishita wake up and get shocked seeing Shagun. They then find themselves in such state. Raman gets up and asks Shagun you here, I m sorry, its not like what it looks like, Ishita was too drunk and….. Shagun says its okay Raman and gets his shirt. She asks him to wear his shirt and not give any explanation, I trust you, I know you won’t break your promise to marry me and won’t hurt me. Ishita looks on. Shagun says I will wait at reception. She goes. Raman wears his shirt and sees Ishita. He leaves from the room. Ishita thinks what did this happen.
The Episode starts with Ashok calling Shagun. He asks about Raman and Ishita being together yesterday night. He says I m confused and laughs. He says I have seen Ishita is after you, she reaches you always, Raman can leave you again for Ishita, you have to come back to me then, think. Raman comes and she ends call. Raman says lets leave. Ashok says truth will hurt, lets see what happens, they went for night out. Niddhi asks whose nightout are you talking about. Ashok says Raman and Ishita spent the night together in hotel. She gets shocked and asks what did you say. He says Ishita is Raman’s weakness. She thinks how did this happen, I told Ruhaan…. She says I have work and leaves. He smiles.
Niddhi dressed in burqa goes to meet Ruhi. Ruhi asks who are you. Niddhi lifts the veil and
shows her face. Ruhi gets shocked. Niddhi says I can reach anywhere, I raised you, I have hidden you and saved you, I made you loved by the world, you can play game with me. Ishita walks to her flat. Niddhi says you will enjoy with family, will I just see this, I will beat you. She sees someone opening the door lock. Ishita opens the door using her keys. She thinks she left mobile in car and goes back. Niddhi hides.
Niddhi checks who was at door and does not see anyone. She warns Ruhi not to play game with her and leaves from there. Niddhi goes to her car and sees Ishita there. She thinks Ishita parked her car with mine, I will leave my car here. She tries to leave hurriedly and falls down. Ishita asks are you hurt. Niddhi runs away. Ishita says your jewelry piece fell here, wait. Few men get a mirror down a truck. Niddhi’s veil flies by air. Ishita gets shocked seeing Niddhi in the mirror. Niddhi realizes this and turns to her. Ishita shouts Niddhi, just stop. Niddhi leaves. Romi and Mihika come there. Ishita asks Romi to catch her, its Niddhi. Mihika says we also came to tell you that Romi may have seen Niddhi, she maybe alive. Ishita says she is really alive, we should catch her. Romi says come fast, we will catch her. They all leave in his car.
Shagun recalls Raman and Ishita, and Pihu. Neelu asks her why does she look worried. Shagun says nothing. Neelu says pandit came. Shagun asks her to make pandit sit. Raman sees pandit and asks him to come later, mummy went to London. Shagun says I called pandit. Pandit tells today is good mahurat for marriage. Mr. Bhalla says how can marriage happen today, arrangements have to be made, Mrs. Bhalla has to come too. Raman recalls his promise to Shagun. Pandit says next mahurat is after 6 months. Raman says no Papa, marriage has to happen, today or any day, why to delay, little arrangements are fine. Shagun smiles.
Niddhi comes home and says Ishita has seen me, now she will try to find me, what do I do now. She panics and drinks water. Niddhi calls and asks for her and Ruhaan’s tickets for Australia in one hour. Ashok calls her. She asks him to arrange tickets for her, she has to leave today itself. Scene 1:
Location: Ishaan’s residence
urmi slaps samrat, much to everyone’s shock, asking how dare he reveal shaurya of his illness. she asks how callous he can be, and begins to vent out her extreme frustration at him. ishaan tries to stop her, trying to make her understand that they have to control their emotions, so as not to incite samrat’s ire. finally, he isgnals damini to take urmi away, and she leaves berserkedly still trying to hit samrat. After they leave, samrat starts fuming with anger, and ishaan immediately goes to appease him. He politely tells him, that he should understand how sensitive it is for a woman, to bear this as a mother, that her only son is dying. He asks samrat to be a little cautious and sensitive, and not bother shaurya, since he is very
sick already. he asks it not to be taken otherwise against urmi. Ishaan tries to salvage the situation, asking samrat not to hurt urmi or shaurya, as they are already going through a lot, and he can vent out whatever frustration he has, to him, rather than direct it at urmi. Samrat glares angrily. ishaan helplessly tells him that he hopes that he would forget what just happened here, and then not let it adversely affect his decision regarding saving shaurya or any other detail associated with it. samrat smirks at him evilly. samrat storms out, while ishaan is tensed.
meanwhile in the room, damini asks urmi to understand that samrat is their only hope, and she understands what urmi is going through, but she cant afford to have such outbursts in front of samrat. urmi tries to point out samrat’s callousness, and damini says that she knows, but urmi has no choice but to bear it all for shaurya’s sake. just then, ishaan comes in, and he too advises urmi to control her emotions, as any disrespect from her part, can cost them shaurya’s life, which is paramount for them. Urmi tries to cool down and understand.
Samrat meanwhile is furious, and tells damini, who comes to meet him, that he wont spare urmi at all, for this slap. He says that he dpesnt care shaurya is alive or dead, and that now she shall understand the true implications of enraging samrat. he says that he shall not comply to urmi’s request now. She thinks that if he doesnt comply to urmi’s wishes, her plan would go down the drain. She tries to say that he cant do this. He says that out of free will, he will do whetever it needs to be done. She says that their plan shall fail. he says that his plan can go down the drain, and that he shall take his revenge on urmi, by letting her son die. She again tries to manipulate, that he can listen to her, and then spoil all of her happiness, and ruin her life, and asks him not to spoil it all due to his ego. he says that he shall give a befitting reply, and doesnt care of the implications. he storms out, while she is furious.
Later, Anirudh comes inside, eager along with gaurav and his family, as a huge feast is being ordered. He gathers everyone together. urmi and ishaan come down. They all are confused as to why all have been called here. He says that they have organised a house party, full of fun and frolic, and shall play a family game. All are eager, while samrat is upset. he angrily eyes urmi, remembering the slap, while urmi is tensed. tani asks whats the matter, and he lies about a headache. He givesan indirect hint, that a huge headache has gone down, and that some issues were bothering them, and now everything is over. urmi gets his message and is tensed. tani goes for the party arrangements, while urmi is tensed at samrat’s reply. meanwhile, sandhya asks alok whats the matter, and he says that this has been done to cheer up shaurya and the family’s mood. They all begin with the game, a kind of a dare, that only shaurya shall give to whoever is on the spot. the game begins with the passing of the pillows. Finally, it ends on asha, and all boo her. She asks shaurya, and he asks her to propose to gaurav romantically. all are cheerful, while gaurav is embarassed, but asha is excited. she gets to doing it, while urmi smiles. Samrat eyes her angrily, and she gets tensed. then it stops on sandhya, and alok asks him to be extra torturous, and shaurya asks her to sing. She takes the centre stage, and starts, much to everyone’s plight. then its ishaan’s turn, and shaurya asks him to dance with urmi. she eyes samrat’s anger, and asks shaurya to change. but he doesnt, and ishaan too extends out his hand, and asks her to do it for shaurya. They dance, and sandhya points out their eternal love and damini is irritated. All others smile, while tani and samrat are irritated. they conclude. next its Anirudh’s turn anmd shaurya hesitates and says that he shall have to answer his question correctly and precisely. Anirudh eagerly complies. shaurya shocks them all by asking if he is going to die. urmi eyes samrat angrily. Anirudh asks shaurya who told him, and tries to distract him. Shaurya asks whats his disease. But anirudh simplifies it saying that very soon he shall be alright, and ishaan and urmi are overwhelmed. anirudh distracts him completely, and engages them all in cheering shaurya up successfully. Ishaan holds urmi’s hand reassuringly.
Late in the night, urmi tucks shaurya in his bed, and then goes to get him milk, while he asks her to hurry up. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, samrat mixes a sedative in tani’s milk so that she sleeps through the night, and he is able to get victory over urmi. urmi comes in just then rushedly, saying that she needs to talk to him. Urmi confronts samrat. She apologises. he asks if she wants an apology. She complies silently. he reprimands her, and says that he wont allow her, doing this again and again. he says that now they shall talk, only when they meet at midnight, on the terrace. she is gripped by a chilling fear as to what he is upto now. urmi is shocked. samrat leaves asking her to come to the terrace. he leaves. the screen freezes on urmi’s tensed face.

Finally, the clock strikes twelve, and urmi is scared. she nervously and stealthily comes up on the roof, while samrat invites her to come, as her presence was much awaited. he throws a gajra at her, welcoming her, to his lair. she is boggled and asks whats this. He says that this is his arrangement for her apology. Samrat has the mood set for a mujra with wine and snacks ready, and him reclining on the mattress, while he throws a pair of anklets at her, asking her to dance and sing to appease hm, saying that there shall be a mujra that he shall enjoy. she is shocked and asks
if he has gone mad. He says that her request for saving her son has been rejected. he immediately comes to her for apology, while he jerks her away asking her not to come closer. he says that since she is hell bent on touching his feet for apology, then she would have to dance her heart out, so that her lord, he himself is appeased, and he is forced to give an apology to her, and even give her what she needs. she is hesitant, while he continues to enjoy her torment, and says that the decision is hers, and he shall not think tywice before rejecting her proposal. She asks how can she, and he says that her request shall be reconsidered only when she agrees to dance seductively. he turns the music on, signalling hr to get ahead with it. Then she finally complies to his wishes, she wears the anklets, and killing her self respect, she begins to dance on lecherous songs hesitatingly. He stops the music and asks that she doesnt have to dance half heartedly, as she isnt doing a favour on him, and asks her to dance fully. she complies. He turns the music on, and begins to dance. He fully enjoys her traumatic plight.

Ishaan meanwhile is tensed as he wakes up with a startle, oblivious of whats happening on the roof. he finds that its quarter to one and doesnt find urmi in the bed. he comes out of his room to search for her. he finds that she isnt in shaurya’s room either and wonders where is she, this late in the night, having even left her phone here. shaurya mumbles for water, and ishaan rushes to give it to him. Shaurya drinks it, and thanks ishaan and then goes to sleep. ishaan gets up, and just then, urmi comes in, dripping with sweat. she gets nervous and asks if shaurya is okay and he is here. He says that he is okay and tells how he landed here. she is restless and fidgety. he notices the tensed look, and asks where was she, and why does she look tired. She says that she was feelingf panicky and hence went down for a stroll. he comes to her and cupping her face, he asks if she is okay. She closes his eyes, and then looks up at him, saying that all’s okay now. he asks her to rest as its too late, and kissing her on the forehead, he begins to leave. She asks if they can have coffee together. He agrees. they start remembering their old memories, laughing and bantering aloud, urmi laughing after a long time, while ishaan eyes her overwhelmingly, happy that she is laughing again. He chokes, and she gets tensed again and asks him to go to sleep, as its late, and he has to go to the court tomorrow. ishaan gets up and taking her hand, asks her to change and simply go to sleep, without taking tension. she wishes him goodnight tensedly and leaves. He calls out to her, and when she turns back, he extends both his hands out to her, she is overwhlemed and rushes to him, hugging him, while tears streaming down her cheeks, as she is kissed on his forehead.
The next mrning, at the breakfast table, all compliment urmi’s cooking yet again. Samrat continues to taunt urmi, by singing the song that she danced for him, last night. urmi gets conscious, as samrat tells tani that there’s a strong memory associated with it. urmi is tensed, while damini is boggled. samrat intentionally teases urmi, by about to tell tani what happened, and urmi gets nervous and spills tea on sandhya. damini observes the problem. just then, rati comes in saying that shaurya wishes to eat snacks, while urmi says that he cant eat it, as oily food is prohibited for him, and rati says that he is insisting. tani asks urmi to comply to shaurya’s wishes. All are surprised, including urmi. tani says that since a dying person’s wishes should be fulfilled, hence he should be allowed. all are shocked at the callousness of her statement. Anirudh immediately shuts her up, asking if she is so disgusted and shameless. tani keeps professing that she is just being a truth speaking person, howsoever bitter it might be.He says that she feels so shameless, as she isnt a mother yet. she is oblivious to the severity of his statements, as he taunts her that she should be cautious well intime, as the lord might just punsih her for her callousness, by making her infertile to sire a child ever. They are all shocked. samrat asks how can he say anything like that. Anirudh asks samrat to shut up, as he doesnt cre for sharya and he talks about children, and asks how can he be so irresponsible to his own son, and that such parents lead god to think who should and who shouldnt be given parents. samrat pretends to be hurt, while tani feels for him. he gets on his drama, saying that his true love is costing him dearly. he rushes inside. Tani is hurt, and angry and goes after him. damini wonders what a big dramatician he is. On the balcony and hallway, ishaan speaks to samrat, that they dont have much time, and that they need to hurry for shaurya’s treatment. Ishaan again apologises to samrat for urmi, saying that he shouldnt be angry at urmi for her slap. Samrat evilly thinks that he has one more chance that means, urmi hasnt told ishaan anything about the previous night. samrat eyes urmi serving food at the table, to family, and when ishaan asks him not to hit urmi, he pretends to relent and says that now only another slap on urmi’s cheeks shall appease him. Samrat adds that he shall not slap urmi himself, but her loving husband shall, and that too in front of everyone. Ishaan is apalled as the screen freezes on his face.
Precap: As ishaan sits at the breakfast table, samrat signals him from the balcony, to go n and hit urmi, with a smack on th face, while she is obliviously serving food to all family members, unaware of samrat’s vicious gameplan. Ishaan is distraught as he is in a moral dilemma.

Chandan is announced as the main dancer of the group. All the kids have to follow him. The dance teacher resumes the rehearsal. Chandan cannot dance well. The Dance Teacher keeps telling him the steps again and again. Sagar is irked as they have to repeat only one step again and again. Yash says I was right that Chandan will be chosen. Another teacher comes there. She notices the kids performing. She thinks that the MLA’s son got the centre position even though he dances so poorly. Wish I could do something about it! Sagar makes up his mind to become the lead dancer or they will lose.
Ganag requests Principal Ma’am to let her participate. One girl has agreed. Other teachers reasons that others school perform so well. How will they match up with just 2 girls? Ganga reasons that they never tried
which is why they never won. Please let us participate. Principal Ma’am tells Ganga that she has no problem with it but they have very less time. If you don’t convince more girls by then, then I wont be able to submit this form. Ganga thinks about it.
Babli helps Sagar practise his steps. Ganga watches from outside. Madhvi asks him to eat food first. Sagar asks Ganga when she will practise her dance if she will keep herself busy in all the house work. Ganga shares the problem with them. I am sure I will make them agree. She walks up to Babli. Will you teach me how to dance? Babli agrees. Select a song first. Ganga picks up Solanki’s CD only. We will need Sagar’s laptop to play it but he has told me against it. Babli offers to do it as Sagar wont say anything to her. She inserts the CD in the laptop. Someone calls her so she leaves. Ganga waits for the CD to load. Amma ji calls out for her so she too leaves. The video plays in which MLA’s BIL kills someone (Abhay).
MLA’s BIL is given 5 star treatment in the jail. MLA is also there. MLA tells him about Solanki recording the murder in his camera. He has that CD but my men couldn’t get it. His BIL tells him to get the CD asap or they will land up in trouble. The other biggies too will be in problem. MLA knows it already. I am more concerned as Niru has taken up the case against you. I can see the danger. I am under a lot of pressure. This case cannot start. If it starts then everyone’s story will end. This wouldn’t have happened if you were a little careful. I will get that CD and get you out of here too. His BIL has no tension. I get a little bored here. Please arrange some entertainment too. MLA reminds him of his position.
Ganga comes back to Sagar’s room but she thinks that the song has ended. Sagar asks her if she wants to damage his laptop again. He gives her that CD. She refuses to take help of him or his laptop. I will practise without it. They both cutely bicker over the competition and who will win.
Ganga is playing with the CD. Amma ji asks her about it. Ganga replies that I wanted to select one song for the dance competition but he dint let me. how will I practise? She suggests her to focus on studies. Ganga asks her if she is alright. You spoke about studies! Amma ji reminds her of the drama that she did to get admission in a school. Lie down to sleep. Spare me. Ganga thinks that she will only get to participate if the girls agree. I will have to do it anyhow.
Next day, it is one girl’s birthday. She (Neha) is distributing chocolates amongst her friends. Ganga smartly says she has a gift for her but she wont get it today. You will get it a few days later. If you take part in the competition and win then you will get a prize. Plus their photos too will be printed in the paper. Gunwanti affirms the info. Neha goes to other classrooms with Bulbul to distribute sweets. Principal Ma’am comes to ask Ganga if any other girl has agreed to take part in the competition. We need to rush. Talk to Bulbul once. She is a very good dancer. It will be a good thing if she agrees for it. Teachers go out for a while. Neha tells Ganga that she is ready too. She also invites Ganga for the birthday party at her house. Ganga thinks that she cannot go. Amma ji will scold. Reena convinces her to go. It wont take long. Plus Neha has agreed. If you don’t go then she might change her mind. Ganga agrees.
Neha cuts the cake and celebrates it with her family and friends. Bulbul eyes Ganga pointedly. Neha gives cake to everyone. Ganga cannot eat it as widows aren’t allowed to eat such stuff. Later, Ganga observes Bulbul as she dances. She dances so well. Principal Ma’am also told me to include Bulbul in the group. I will have to do something.

Bulbul is still dancing. Ganga requests Neha to ask Bulbul to take part in the dance competition. Try to talk to her. You agreed so maybe she too will. Neha is sure that is never going to happen. Bulbul’s friends update Bulbul that Neha has agreed to take part in the dance competition. Bulbul confronts Neha. Our friendship ends now. Neha tries to put some sense in her head but Bulbul walks out of the party. Neha is sad as they are very old friends yet Bulbul got upset with her.
Next day, Bulbul’s friends are discussing about Ganga and the dance competition. They talk in favour of Ganga. Bulbul keeps fighting with everyone. Bulbul overhears this. What magic has this girl done on everyone that everyone is going against me and praising her! Morning Prayer starts.
The dance teacher keeps focusing
on Chandan and explaining him the same steps again and again. The same lady teacher comes there again. She asks the dance teacher that there has been no change in Chandan’s act even after teaching him so much. He is dancing better than him. The dance teacher knows that Chandan is MLA’s son. he will feel bad otherwise. She reasons that they might lose the competition otherwise. He suggests her to think one more time. She agrees to talk to Principal Sir. I am sure he too will support me. She switches Chandan and Sagar’s place. Chandan angrily looks at Sagar. They start the rehearsal once again.
Principal Ma’am tells the girls about Ganga wanting their school to take part in the competition. We wont be able to take part this year too as we need atleast 8-10 girls for dance troop. Everyone looks sad but Bulbul surprises everyone by agreeing to take part in the competition. Everyone gets happy. I know I too lot of time but we still have time in submitting the form. Everyone should participate. It will be a good thing for us and our school. I will talk to everyone and get you the names in an hour. Principal Ma’am nods. She talks about what all Ganga has done for it. I would want Ganga to be the leader of the group. They all clap for Ganga. Bulbul isn’t happy. This widow will be our leader? She will get equal scolding in the end. She doesn’t know what all is going to happen with her.
Bulbul and Gunwanti note down the names of the girls who want to be a part of the group. 12 girls have agreed so far. Reena and Ganga are glad that the girls agreed. Gunwanti updates Principal Ma’am. She tells Gunwanti to send Bulbul and Ganga in the room with the form. Ganga thanks Bulbul for her help. One girl questions Bulbul over her act. Why are you helping Ganga? Bulbul says time will tell.
Maharaj ji has got all the stuff that has to go to widow Ashram today. She is a little lost. I had seen that guy near Sagar’s school. If he is there today and sees me then it will be a trouble. Madhvi comes there. She asks Amma ji something but Amma ji is all quiet, lost in her thoughts. She declines to go to Ashram. Maharaj ji suggests taking rest for a few hours. You do this on your own every month. Amma ji tells him to go. She walks to her room. Madhvi asks her something but Amma ji doesn’t even hear her. Madhvi is concerned about her.
Gunwanti ji submits the form in Sagar’s school. The Principal appreciates her on her efforts. Ganga says thank you to him. He tells Gunwanti to take all details of the competition from their teacher. They all go out. They are in front of the room where the kids are doing dance practise. Ganga thinks that Sagar too will be here. She goes closer and peeks in. She is very happy to see Sagar. Bulbul has her eyes set on Ganga. Gunwanti’s discussion ends. She too joins the girls. This is a school. They have so many facilities – dance teacher, music system! The dance practise session ends. Ganga calls out for Sagar so he goes out. You are here again? Ganga tells Sagar and Yash that she had come to submit the form for the competition. The dance teacher asks Sagar about the girls. Sagar introduces them. She tells him the same thing. He says your school will compete with us. That isn’t possible! Ganga remarks that it is possible. My school might be small but the girls of my school are very sharp and bright. They know everything right from studies to dance and everything. Gunwanti affirms. Our talent will be seen in the competition. I saw the kids of your school practising just now. They cannot match their steps or do it perfectly. Chandan comes out to ask his dance teacher something when he notices Bulbul. What is my driver’s daughter doing here? Bulbul tells everyone to leave. Gunwanti takes the girls from there. Ganga and Sagar say bye to each other.

She is positive that their school will win. He laughs that they still haven’t started the practise yet. We have been practising since so long and have finalised most of the things. How will you win? She is sure they only will win. You be prepared this time. The competition is going to be tough. He allows her to hear song on his laptop or she wont be able to prepare for it. Ganga is overjoyed.

Cari gushes that she will finally be a family with Lazaro. (um yea about that sorry not quite yet lady)
Jero tells him that he didn’t think they would get married so soon. Jero tells him to make a decision about what is he going to do. Jero suggests that he tell Kari the truth and Laza refuses to tell her the truth, cause she suffered so badly at the hands of Dr. Creepy so he says he will break things off with her and not let her know about Dr.Creepy.
Auggie is furious about the dead vines, the worker is trying to explain that it is not his fault that the vines died and that they are infected with plaque, Ezequiel
The workers are yelling at Carlos to help Alphonsina, he sends someone to get Ezeke.
Jero tries to justify himself more, but Lazaro begs him not to tell Kari about Dr.Creepy. Laza asks to keep them apart forever. Then he says that he will walk away from her forever and that he will die before he causes her any problems.
Mati informs Jero about Alphonsina he looks stunned.
Renata arrives at work Gonzo asks how things went and she tells him that Jero charged no interest and Gonzo can’t believe it. She explains that Jero was very generous, She cries to Gonzo about how much she loves Jero and how they can’t be together, and she doesn’t know what to do with her feelings. Gonzo tries to tell her to give things a chance and she says she can’t she has to try to move on with her life and forget her feelings for him. She cries and Gonzo tries to make her feel better.
Roberta greets Matia’s lawyer who shows up at the house. who is there to tell her he wants a divorce. She tells him that it is not possible because he is stuck, he explains that there was a loophole, that he can file for divorce because she is not having a kid so all bets are off. She looks at the papers and proceeds to tear them up in his face. ( yea that will fix it, problem solved and now you have nothing to worry about, your a magician)
Regina is arriving at the meeting spot with the bag and releases her body guards and tells them to leave her, then she catches a cab.
Connie arrives home Honorio tries to make her feel better, she is trying to talk to them and she can’t seem to get it out. They keep talking about eating and resting, but she wants to tell them that they are in grave danger and that Fina is the problem.
Alphonsina is in with the Dr. she is telling her that she is having contractions way to soon and that they have to stop them and that she has to take care of herself and get plenty of bed rest. Alphonsina is worried because she has to work. The Dr. says they can figure something out.
Laza is crying about why this is happening to him ( umm because this novela is not over for a while now and you must suffer some more before your allowed to be happy) he has a right to be happy, Mati asks whats wrong and he yells at here to leave him alone he has nothing to say.
Manuela tells Kari to not worry about what the Padre said and they wonder why he would say that. She tells Kari that the decision is between she and Laza.
Auggie tells Ezeke that he has been thinking a lot and that he wants to take La Bonita, He tells Ezeke it will be hard, but not impossible. Someone knocks on the door, and tells Ezeke that something is wrong with Alphonsina. Auggie tells him to go and see what is wrong.
Jero and Dr. are gushing about being in love and she tells him that she has an answer to his question, but Padre walks in and sees them kissing and is not happy, then he asks what question and she tells him that Jero asked her to live with him, and she said that she said yes. ( I think there is a heart attack in his near future)
Adri is cooking in the kitchen when Renata walks in, and asks what she is cooking she tells her that it’s for Constanza. Adri tells her about Matias fit and she says he has a right to be angry, and that she needs to make a decision as soon as possible, Adri tells her that she knows she loves Matias, but there is something about Chema that makes her happy too, she wonders how she is supposed to make the right decision. She is afraid to make the right choice. Nata tells her that she is the wrong person to ask she is confused herself, about Jero not charging interest on the loan and then him loving the Dr.
Gina meets with Fina and demands that she tell her where her daughter is , Fina hands her an envelope with a picture in it and Gina opens it and sees a picture of the family Monterubbio, and Fina takes pleasure in telling her that she Pepa is also Fina Monterubbio, which leaves Gina speechless. She can’t believe this is true. Fina tells her that she is so stupid, and then tells her that she was the one who tried to kill her, twice. But she is like a cat with many lives. She not only wants her money, but for her to suffer. She reveals that she killed her husband for leaving her daughter with nothing. Gina calls her a monster.
Padre refuses to allow her to live with Jero in sin, he tries to explain things to Padre and he is not buying it he wants him to marry her, she apologizes that he is not happy, but she is going to live with him without a promise of marriage. Padre asks if they are going to live together as friends with no hanky panky, he says he will not give his blessing. Jero asks if she is sure and she swears she is (is she kidding? really? what an idiot I was going to feel bad when she got dumped for Nata, but now she gets what she gets for falling for this crap)
Fina keeps explaining all the damage she has done, including killing her mother, Gina now realizes that her mom was trying to tell her, (DUHHHHH) Fina is taking pleasure in telling her Tony helped her, Gina does not believe that she helped, then she puts it all together but still is in denial. Fina tells her she hates her since the moment they met. Gina demands she tell her who her daughter is, Fina tells her to be patient, she wants to enjoy the moment.
Gonzo tries calling Gina and gets her voicemail, he is worried.
Nata and Adri are reading a book about dreams, she is explaining the meaning of her dream about Jero and she tells her it could mean someone will die, Nata gets freaked and Adri explains that it’s not for sure it is just an interpretation. Nata does not want to believe her. So she calls Jero to feel better and get his voicemail. She feels silly and tries to let it go.
Fina is just driving the dagger in deeper, she tells Gina that she will not be with Gonzo. Gina argues that they love each other, more than he loved her and more than Roberto loved her. Then she tells her to be careful, or someone could get hurt like Constanza. Gina is now horrified at all that Fina has done. Fina tells her that Coni was to nosey and she paid for it.
The spoiled brat Roberta arrives at the office, drunk and demands to talk to her dad. The secretary( who will wish she took the day off) tells her he is busy and she gets in her face and demands to see him. She starts to walk to his office and she tells Roberta to go get a cup of coffee and wait, she refuses and pushes the secretary out of the way and heads for the office.
Fina goes to leave with the money and Gina demands that she tell her which one of the girls is her daughter and Fina tells her to be patient. She will tell her eventually but not until she is sure she will be safe, Gina begs but Fina is un moved and walks away with the money, and leaves Gina crying on the bench.
Adri is bringing food to Coni who looks like she is not hungry, but desperate to tell Honi what is going on. She wants to scream that Fina is the problem, Honi keeps telling her to calm down and eat. (now I want to punch him, shut up crazy and let her talk)
Gina is thinking about the first time she saw a picture of the girls and that she felt drawn to them and that she needs to figure out which one is her daughter.
Avances: Renata wants to make sure Jero is okay and Fina and Roberta are up to something nasty

WEDNESDAY UPDATE ON DEFENDANT EPISODE 12 4TH APRIL 2018 JOYPRIME

Vowing to escape as he crouches on the roof, Jung-woo spins around when he hears the warden’s voice behind him. Luckily, the man is on a lower level berating the head of security about the illegal items that have been smuggled into the prison lately, reportedly by a staff member. The head of security nervously says he’ll look into it, but the warden says he’ll do it himself; there will be a prison-wide inspection.
Jung-woo carefully levers himself off the roof and back into the warden’s office, but the man is still nearby, talking on his phone in the hallway. Jung-woo ducks down as the warden re-enters his office and turns on the lights. The warden looks around suspiciously, but finds nothing before leaning out the window to smoke and failing to see Jung-woo standing on the window ledge next to him.
A guard arrives, and the warden takes him along to do cell inspections. The officers move out in force, and Chul-shik anxiously watches for Jung-woo’s return. The others panic, certain he’s been caught.
Jung-woo silently exits the warden’s office and gets down the stairs undetected by the guards, though a camera catches him passing by. Meanwhile, two guards arrive at his cell, and realizing that Jung-woo is missing, they ask his nervous cellmates where he is.
Suddenly Jung-woo exits from the bathroom, claiming a stomachache, and the guards receive word that the inspection is over. Once they’ve left, everyone sags in relief, and Chul-shik snaps that Jung-woo almost gave him a heart attack. (Me too.)
The next day, Raccoon is missing from the yard, having been caught during the inspection last night. He was working with the head of security, who gets a dressing-down in the warden’s office. He begs to be let off this once, offering the warden a bank book as a bribe, which his superior takes.
Since they’ve tested the route to the rooftop, Jung-woo and his co-conspirators now have to figure out how to get past their next obstacle: the five surveillance towers. Chul-shik and Mong-chi bicker over this seemingly impossible task while Jung-woo thinks it over carefully.
Min-ho arrives in his office to find his mother, accompanied by her nurse. The old woman greets him as “Sun-ho” and says she came because she missed him. Once the nurse leaves, Mom says she had a bad dream recently—that the supposedly vacationing Min-ho is actually in a cemetery. She asks him to call Min-ho so she can talk to him and lay her fears to rest. Min-ho tries to put her off, but she insists, so he gets up and “calls” before turning to tell her that Min-ho must be asleep.
He’s startled to find his mother standing right in front of him. “Min-ho,” she says, completely lucid. “Where’s Hyung?” She repeats his name agitatedly, grabbing his clothes and shaking him. She asks why he’s wearing his brother’s clothes and glasses, and tells him to explain. She demands again where Sun-ho is, then suddenly becomes faint and seems to fall into one of her episodes, murmuring, “Where are you, Sun-ho?” As the nurse wheels her out she turns to her son and says “Min-ho,” before shaking her head.
The deputy chief of prosecutors meets with Joon-hyuk, telling him to do well in his UN posting, and then asks again if Jung-woo’s case was wrapped up properly, startling the younger man. The deputy chief says there’s nothing more humiliating to a prosecutor than conducting an investigation wrong—he did it once, and he covered it up. “A prosecutor acknowledging and correcting his mistake? It’s admirable. But we know,” he says meaningfully, “that moment is the end for him.”
Joon-hyuk goes to his office and opens a locked drawer in his desk, where he’s hidden Ha-yeon’s Nemo. He presses the stuffed animal to play its recording of his and Ji-soo’s voices, then puts the toy into a box, looking anguished. “Why did you have to go that far, Cha Sun-ho?”
Our prison break crew examines their map, and Gangster Hyung asks Jung-woo if he’s decided on an escape route. To everyone’s surprise, Jung-woo says a surveillance tower is the only way to get to the front gate. Rockfish and Chul-shik balk at the danger of getting shot, but Mong-chi says he’s on board, inadvertently spilling the beans about his winning lottery ticket to the rest of the group. Rockfish tackles him and rips the ticket off Mong-chi’s stomach, then he, Gangster Hyung, and Mil-yang marvel at the two million dollar payout. Mong-chi begrudgingly agrees to give Rockfish five thousand dollars of his winnings.
Back to business: Jung-woo says they’ll go through tower three, across the yard—it’s the the only one with a railing, which Jung-woo will tie a rope to so they can climb down. The next day in the yard they map the route: out the warden’s window, across the roof and down the water pipe, then it’s through two doors to get to the yard.
That night, Jung-woo goes out again to test whether the keys they have will unlock those two doors. The first one opens right away, but the second has Jung-woo trying every key until he realizes that none of them work. He shares the news with his friends at lunch the next day, saying he’ll need to cut out a part of the fence to get of the second door.
Tae-soo arrives then, and Jung-woo follows him to the guards’ office and thanks him for the other day. Tae-soo shows him security footage of Jung-woo in the hallway on the night of the inspection; he says he figures Jung-woo is trying to get out again to meet Ha-yeon. “I saw Ha-yeon’s picture. That day at the hospital, you met Ha-yeon, right?” Jung-woo nods. Tae-soo asks why he’s hiding it from him, and what exactly happened. Jung-woo tells him the story of what happened the night of Ji-soo’s murder.
Tae-soo is in a murderous rage after hearing the full story, but Jung-woo warns that one wrong move will put Ha-yeon in danger, and apologizes for being unable to protect Ji-soo. Tae-soo asks what he can do.
At Maria Clinic, the doctor gives Ha-yeon a clean bill of health, and his nurse shows Sung-kyu and Ha-yeon a place they can stay. Sung-kyu tells Ha-yeon that if she waits a bit, her dad will find them here, and she agrees cheerfully.
Eun-hye comes home with shopping bags full of men’s clothes and shoes, and her aunt asks suspiciously if she has a boyfriend. But Eun-hye tells her that the clothes are for a client and herds her out of her bedroom as she thinks back to the last time she visited Jung-woo.
He told her he’d found Ha-yeon, but wouldn’t tell her where she was for fear of putting Eun-hye in danger, saying he’d find his daughter himself. Eun-hye asked what would happen if he couldn’t get out, but Jung-woo didn’t allow for that possibility. He also gave her a list and asked her to leave those things at a closed-down school next to Woljung train station, telling her he’d contact her once he got to Seoul. Now, she looks for the school on a map.
The warden asks Jung-woo again for some kind of evidence to pin Min-ho for the crime, but he reiterates that he hasn’t yet recovered his memory. The warden shows Jung-woo a transfer order that arrived this morning to that dark, inescapable prison he was to be sent to before, and asks if this might jog his memory.
In their cell, the six men stare at the transfer order, dated four days from now. Chul-shik tells him to give the warden what he wants, but Jung-woo declares that they’ll just have to escape before then.
Seok shows up at Maria Clinic asking about his “friend” who was there recently, but the doctor pretends not to recognize Sung-kyu’s picture. On his way out, however, Seok spots a car and identifies it as Sung-kyu’s by… empty chip bags?
Tae-soo eats with his mother at her restaurant, thinking of Jung-woo’s request to keep things a secret from her in order to prevent undue shock. She hesitantly asks if he can take a bowl of food to Jung-woo, and he surprises her by saying yes while mentally asking her to wait a little longer.
That night, Jung-woo stealthily works on cutting a hole in the fence leading to the prison yard. Now they only have one obstacle left, and the next day, the three conspirators eye the tower, trying to figure out a way in. Spotting some guards, Jung-woo gets up and tells the others to follow him.
They pretend to exercise near the base of the tower as the guards unlock its door to change shifts. The lock is huge, impossible to break, and they don’t have its key; Chul-shik suggests they find another way, but Jung-woo insists that there isn’t one.
Yeon-hee and Min-ho watch Eun-soo’s recital, and Yeon-hee looks over at him, full of smiles as he films the performance. As the three eat together afterwards, Min-ho thinks, This is right, Hyung. Yeon-hee was always my woman.
A flashback shows his confrontation with Sun-ho when the engagement was decided. He asked how Sun-ho could do this, but his brother calmly replied that it was their father’s decision. Min-ho angrily said that Sun-ho neither knew nor loved Yeon-hee, but Sun-ho replied that although Min-ho loved her, Sun-ho was making a business deal, so feelings didn’t matter—he didn’t care who he married.
That evening, Min-ho meets Joon-hyuk on a bridge, and asks why the man wanted to see him. Joon-hyuk says he’s curious: He knows Min-ho had a history with Jung-woo, but why is Sun-ho so interested in him? Min-ho asks why he needs to know when he’ll be leaving soon, but Joon-hyuk says he looked at the black box videos again and saw Sun-ho exiting Jung-woo’s apartment right before the incident, and again one day later; it didn’t take Joon-hyuk long to figure out what that meant.
Joon-hyuk turns to look at him. “You’re Cha Min-ho. That’s the only way this all makes sense.” Min-ho turns as well and meets his eyes. “You’re saying the same thing as Prosecutor Park.” Jung-woo didn’t believe him when he said he wasn’t Min-ho, he says—will Joon-hyuk?
Joon-hyuk grabs Min-ho’s jacket and says if he had known earlier, he wouldn’t have believed him. Min-ho says he knows how Joon-hyuk feels; they both have a lot to lose. He wishes him luck at the U.N. and leaves, and Joon-hyuk smacks his steering wheel in frustration.
On his nightly excursion, Jung-woo remembers the circuit breakers going out earlier that day, a seemingly common occurrence. He heads to the breakers and switches off the power to surveillance tower three. A guard grumbles as he comes to turn it back on, and a hidden Jung-woo checks his watch: It took six minutes for the guard to arrive.
In his office, the warden is watering his plant when he notices dirt on the windowsill. Oh no! Angrily, he looks closely at and around the window.
Jung-woo tells his prison break buddies how long they’ll have to get through the fence and into the tower, but Mong-chi asks what they’ll do about the padlock—it’s too thick to cut with a saw. Chul-shik asks Rockfish if he can pick the lock, but Rockfish refuses to risk his life to help them. Jung-woo says he’ll just have to get the key.
Gangster Hyung asks what they’ll do once they’re out, since the police will be out in full force searching for them. Jung-woo says they’ll go to the nearby Woljung train station and take the first train, hopefully before anyone notices they’re gone. Chul-shik wonders what they’ll do about money and a change of clothes, but Jung-woo says he’s already asked someone—this is Eun-hye, of course, who we see going to the old school at night to drop off the requested items.
Jung-woo heads out one last time on a practice run; they’ll do it for real tomorrow. When he goes into the warden’s office, however, he doesn’t notice a red light blinking from the potted plant by the window.
At Jung-woo’s checkup the next day, the doctor wonders why his wound isn’t healing, telling him he mustn’t exercise. She says he’s the most mysterious patient she’s had, since he went from trying to break out of the hospital to being a model prisoner. He thanks her for all her help, which sounds suspiciously like a goodbye, but he says it’s because he might be transferred soon.
The warden checks the hidden camera from his office and sees the head of security entering not long after the video starts. He angrily gets up to check his wall safe, but smiles in relief to see it hasn’t been tampered with. He leaves his office to summon his underling, completely missing Jung-woo’s appearance in the video. Whew.
The warden tells the head of security to resign, as he’s used up his one chance. The man kneels and asks for mercy, saying he’ll do anything. In the guards’ office, one of the officers packs his things to transfer somewhere else, and they wonder why Tae-soo also applied to go, as his term here isn’t up yet.
During a lunch stop at Subway, Eun-hye looks up the penalty for breaking out of prison and finds out that it’s ten years.
That night, Ha-yeon can’t sleep, so she asks Sung-kyu to sing her a song like her dad used to. Sung-kyu says he doesn’t have a dad so he doesn’t know any songs, so she sings to him instead, and he hides his tears.
At Woljung Penitentiary, as soon as the night guard passes, Jung-woo and his friends spring up out of bed. They test the strength of a rope they’ve made from knotted blankets, and wrap it around Mong-chi.
Mil-yang tells them to be careful, and Rockfish jokes that they’ll have lots of space now, before he remembers that tomorrow they’ll all be in solitary. Mong-chi says he’ll buy him whatever he wants once he gets his two million. He asks Jung-woo how long he’ll have to serve for breaking out if he gets caught—six months, a year? He decides he doesn’t mind, and they say their goodbyes.
It’s go time. Jung-woo counts down, and they exit one by one through the window. Their cellmates carefully replace everything; by morning the sirens, or lack thereof, will let them know whether their friends succeeded.
The three escapees carefully follow the route Jung-woo has painstakingly plotted, timing each section according to the camera cycles. All goes smoothly until they reach the warden’s office, which now has a electronic door lock. Jung-woo’s transfer is the next morning, so they have no choice but to proceed—he tells Chul-shik to take off his shirt and put it against the glass window in the door, and then he breaks it with a fire extinguisher.
They exit safely through the window, up onto the roof, and down the water pipe, ducking to avoid the searchlight each time it passes. Jung-woo goes to turn off the circuit breaker, and when he rejoins the others, they have three minutes. The guards in the office receive notice to go turn the breaker back on, but they remember that someone’s on patrol, and radio him to do it instead. Uh-oh.
The three convicts reach the yard and sprint to the surveillance tower. Jung-woo takes out a key from his sock and Mong-chi nudges his hand in approval, but it sends the key flying. Ack! They find the key just as the lights begin to turn back on, far too soon, and barely make it into the tower in time.
They head up the stairs, only to stop dead when they see Tae-soo—but then Jung-woo holds up the key and smiles, thanking him. Tae-soo smiles back and cautions them to be quiet.
The warden arrives at the prison as our trio reaches the top of the tower, where the sole guard listens to music on his headphones, totally immersed. They reach the balcony and let down the rope without being detected, though the guard startles them when he suddenly sings out loud. Ha.
Chul-shik goes first, followed by Mong-chi, and Jung-woo follows last. He’s about to descend when Tae-soo comes outside, and they say goodbye to each other.
Their cellmates wonder nervously whether their friends got out safely, finding hope in the silence. Jung-woo finally drops to the ground, and the three escapees hug each other in delight. Quick, Tae-soo, untie the rope!
The other guard takes off his headphones and turns around to see the rope, still tied to the railing. He grabs his gun and runs out to the balcony in time to see the prisoners running away. He tries to aim at them, but Tae-soo pushes his gun down, and the two men struggle. Jung-woo and his friends realize that they’ve been seen and make a run for it.

WEDNESDAY UPDATE ON MY AMAZING BOYFRIEND EPISODE 20
Quick recap. Thanks to Tian Jing Zhi (Wu Qian) getting into a car accident and her blood brings Xue Ling Qiao (Kim Tae Hwan) back from the dead. Li Yan Zhi (Fu Jia) and Ye Chen are looking for the now missing body. Jing Zhi and Lin Qiao start living together even though she tries to get rid of him. She is determined to get him out of her house so she agrees to help him track down his enemy so she can go back living her peaceful life. She gets Ling Qiao a job as a taekwondo teacher so that he can make some money, and he got cast in her drama to play the main villain. Meanwhile Ling Qiao has found a concrete clue to the identity of his enemy, while trying to keep Jing Zhi and his feelings out of the mix. Ling Qiao moves in with Dong Dong to distance himself from Jing Zhi. Professor Li found out the truth behind Ling Qiao and trapped Jing Zhi and he in a freezer to force him into stasis, thankfully Yan Zhi saved them. Now there relationship is closer than ever.
We go back to the house when Ling Qiao gets the phone call from Yan Zhi to meet him at the Cafe. They meet and Yan Zhi starts telling him that they had discovered a photograph was removed from the crime scene. Ling Qiao asks him why he’s telling him that, and he tells him the Ms. Kan told him that one of his colleagues had gone and asked her about the photographer. He remarks that it is illegal to pretend to be an officer. Ling Qiao asks cockily if he was going to arrest him in the coffee shop. He then goes to explain that he had gone to ask her about the jade plaque and happened upon the conversation about the photograph, and him telling her he’s a cop was just to make her feel at ease. Ling Qiao reminds him that he has always wanted to buy the jade plaque. Yan Zhi tells him that the person in the photograph was the person who pawned it, and it could be his ancestor. Ling Qiao stipulates it could be the thief as well.
Yan Zhi confirms that he no longer believes that Ling Qiao is the murderer even though he has not been cleared of the murders; however this piece of information makes him want to find the truth out even more. Ling Qiao agrees that it has also made him curious. Ling Qiao tells Yan Zhi that he has an idea but it really depends on him
Yan Zhi goes to see the Chief to ask his approval for the plan. The chief doesn’t look thrilled about it and he reminds him that he doesn’t have long left. He asks when he was planning it and he tells him they would like to do it the following afternoon.
Jing Zhi is snapping selfies with Ling Qiao in the background when she notices something is off. She asks him if Yan Zhi bullied him and he said he did and then teased her and asked if she would avenge him. She tells him that she doesn’t believe him and she should be happy that he didn’t bully Yan Zhi. Ling Qiao asks if she’s worried about Yan Zhi and she asks why should she be since they are no longer together
She asks Ling Qiao if he’s jealous, but she tells him not to worry because she currently infatuated with a cynical, awkward, super rich healer monster. Ling Qiao reminds her to no fantasize too much because he may be rich but his money has nothing to do with her. He tells her he’s heading to work.
Ling Qiao goes back the seas and starts mulling over life and life expediencies. He mentions that decades pass quickly and there is a lot of pain to the ones who are left behind. It takes a lot of courage to get into a relationship knowing you will be left behind.
Ling Qiao and Jing Zhi are at home watching the press conference. The police Chief explains that the person who committed the murders at the villa was very meticulous and left no clues behind. However there has been a breakthrough in the case and the lead investigator, Yan Zhi, will explain the details. Yan Zhi steps forward and explains that there was a 100 year old photo missing from the couple’s house and they believe that the guise of a robbery was to take that photo. All of the reports are appalled at the concept that this crime could be committed for a picture. Yan Zhi goes on to explain that they had contacted the daughter and she thankfully had a copy of the photo and it would be in transit and should be arriving in 2 days’ time.
Jing Zhi turns to Ling Qiao and asks if this is the plan that he had discussed with Yan Zhi. He confirms that it is. She mentions that she thought that the person that wanted her dead was also the person who killed the couple so the case was closed. He reminds that the assassin was killed; however that person who hired the assassin is his enemy and will try and stop him from getting a copy of the picture. However what they don’t know is that he already has a copy of the picture. She briefly wonders if his enemy will fall for it but Ling Qiao is certain. Jing Zhi asks him if he would consider getting his revenge after her death, and he gets up to make some juice.
Chen sees the press conference and worries that Yan Zhi doesn’t care for his life. Though it is easy to like dangerously if he doesn’t have long to live. He wonders how long he will keep his sickness hidden for. He calls him and they start talking, Yan Zhi asks what up and he tells him that he was just thinking of him. Yan Zhi Jokes and tells him that he’s fine but it would never work between them, and besides that he would not betray Xuan Xuan. Chen feels better after hearing him joke. Yan Zhi invites Chen and Xuan Xuan to dinner since he heard they had a fight. Chen tells him that he is well informed.
Detective Zhang goes to see Lia Bao and tells him that Xuan Xuan and Jing Zhi have started supporting the police so there are a lot of eyes on the photograph. Detective Zhang assures him that he will get the picture back himself, and Lia Bao tells him that he will wait for his good news.
Ling Qiao and Jing Zhi go to have dinner at her parents’ house. Her father brings the soup to the table. Jing Zhi tells Ling Qiao about her father snoop through her things and eavesdrop on her conversation, but he was always a fantastic cook and quite good looking when he was young. Jing Zhi serves the soup for Ling Qiao who warns her it’s hot. Her father explains that he had to protect her from men which Ling Qiao thanks him for protecting her.
Her mother is worried that she is suffering side effects from the kidnapping so she hadn’t expected her to be in such good spirits. She tells her that she has been through a car crash, a fire and now a kidnapping and she’s still here and she will be fine. Her mother mentions it’s just because the king of hell won’t take her and they laugh. Jing Zhi tells her mother not to worry because she now has Ling Qiao to protect her. She chastises Ling Qiao to not drink so much because he is driving them home. Her mother tell her that she could just stay there for the evening and Jing Zhi thinks it’s a fantastic idea and fills up his glass. Ling Qiao asks her what is going on and she tells him to just have a good time.
Jing Zhi sneaks into the room that Ling Qiao is sleeping in and watches him sleep. She mutters about him having a low alcohol tolerance and she wonders where he’ll run this evening because once he’s in her grasp he can’t run away. Jing Zhi gets into bed with Ling Qiao and lowers the blankets and starts pulling his shirt up slowly. Ling Qiao just lies there as she slowly lifts his shirt plays with his stomach feeling with it. Eventually he just snaps and spun them, pinning her to the mattress. She starts apologizing and telling him that he wasn’t expecting him to turn into an animal when he was drunk. He stares at her, and then kisses her passionately. I drooled at this scene and you have to watch it more than once just because it’s perfect.
The next morning Ling Zhi wakes up, not wearing the same clothes, or a lot less clothes, in the bed next to Ling Qiao. At first she doesn’t get it but after she does she tries to steal the blankets so she could leave the room. At first Ling Qiao doesn’t let her have them and then lets goo and she shuffles out the door. She starts pacing the walk-in trying to figure out what to do and when she’s decided Ling Qiao is waiting at the door. She tries to close it but he forces himself in and pinning her to wall after she tries to escape. (There is a lot of pinning in this show).
Ling Qiao acts mad and tells her that he has only been set up twice, once resulted in his throat being slashed and the other was her. She apologizes for taking advantage of him, but she hadn’t meant to do it. (I’m sorry I groped your abs while you were drunk, my hand had a life of its own. come on girl own up. ) Jing Zhi promises to do anything to make him forgive her. Ling Qiao tells her that if she pleases him over that day he’ll forgive her. As he leaves he stifles a laugh and smirks. (You beautiful bastard you.)
Xuan Xuan and Yan Zhi are talking about her new drama, and how she may be playing the second lead to Jing Zhi in the up-coming drama because it requires more talent. Yan Zhi asks if Jing Zhi will really be playing the lead in a drama. She confesses that the direct will look at her popularity after their most recent drama airs before making the decision. Yan Zhi asks her about what is happening between her and Chen, she tells him nothing is but since they’re both single he can pursue her as much as he likes. Chen comes back with wine and asks what they are talking about and Xuan Xuan tells him nothing. Chen goes to help Yan Zhi with the cooking and she takes a picture of them.
Jing Zhi sees Xuan Xuan’s post with the picture on social media. She gets mad that she’s having dinner with them without inviting her. Ling Qiao notices that she is distracted and starts making her buy a bunch of things that he wants. She reminds herself that she must endure to make him happy. He then takes her to get some cuff links and she ask if she’s paying for that too, and he tells her of course because she’s trying to heal his heart. They have a little shopping spree and when they gets to the ice cream shop she sees him taking selfies and glares at him but acts innocent when he looks over. (Watch this scene and the next scene because OH!!! So cute)
They go to the movies with the ice cream that Jing Zhi just bought. She trips on a step and Ling Qiao catches her. The make their way to their seats and sit down to watch the movie. Part way through the movie Ling Qiao gets a call from his student’s mother and steps out to take it. Jing Zhi follows and hears that Ling Qiao will be there right away. Ling Qiao tells her to go home because she must be tired, but Jing Zhi tells her that she heard everything and wants to know what is so important that he would go see the mother in a phone call. Ling Qiao assures her nothing is going one, and she tells him that if that is the truth she wants to come along. He tells her that if she doesn’t mind getting a little dirty she can come with him, and they leave to the student’s apartment.
We pan to the apartment with 2 members of a loan shark gang sitting on the stairs playing games. A underling tells him that she won’t open the door. The boss tells him to go back knocking at the door because they will need to leave eventually, and he tells them not to let them get away again.
Ling Qiao and Jing Zhi arrive at the apartment and while going up the stairs Jing Zhi puts her hand in red paint and steps in it. Ling Qiao stops her and takes her out of the paint. He puts a mask and sunglasses on her face and tells her to wait for him. He goes up and the underling tells the boss that he is the guy who let the mother get away last time. They threaten to kill him but he beats them up instead. Ling Qiao tells Jing Zhi to follow him and they go to the apartment.
The mother brings them tea, and she mentions that she didn’t know that he knew someone like Jing Zhi. She tells her that Ling Qiao is her boyfriend and she explains that she now understands why he was never tempted by any of the woman at the dojang. The mother starts to apologize for getting Ling Qiao wrapped up in her problems. Ling Qiao tells her that she should really take some legal action against her husband who was the one who got into debt, he even offered to help her find a lawyer.
Jing Zhi excuses herself to wash her hands when the son calls her ugly and tells her to stop clinging to coach because he want him as his father. Jing Zhi tells him that his mother will need to find another man because that man is taken by her. The son tells her that the coach tells him that a boy protects girls that he likes. She confirms that it is normally true but there is also a second reason to protect a girl, and that’s because she is weak and needs protect and that is the reason he is protecting his mother. The son kicks her leg and gets into a fighting stance.
Jing Zhi chastises Ling Qiao for not telling her why he walked them home every day. Ling Qiao reminds her that she never asked and she told him he should have explained anyways. He tells her that he didn’t do anything wrong so why would he offer and explanation. She tells him that he doesn’t deserve a girlfriend, and he asks her what is she then and she tells him she is a warrior to defeat a monster. She asks Ling Qiao what he’s planning on doing once he finds his enemy. He tells her he’ll probably kill him since he doesn’t have a hobby of torture. She asks if he thought of the problems that would occur if the person he is looking for turns out to be an upstanding citizen and by killing him would cause him to be a fugitive and he wouldn’t be able to live a quiet life like they do now.
She tells him to forget it and walks away and he notices her leg. He asks her what happens and she tells him nothing happened. He fires back that he would tell either if he had been kicked by a kid. She tells him it’s his fault for not teaching them to using minimum force and kicking so precisely. Jing Zhi tells him that she just wants to go home and starts to walk away. Ling Qiao goes a pick him up and carries her home.
Yan Zhi is setting up the undercover operation at the mail office. Everyone was getting in place and ready for the operation. The floor manager comes in and hands Yan Zhi the list of their employees, not including the temps. He tells everyone that if the target doesn’t arrive by 2 pm they will preform the deliveries as per normal.
I loved this episode and all the cute scenes. *two big thumbs up*
