MONDAY UPDATE ON MY LOST HOME
A relative of the Khurana family arrives at their door step. Soni is happy about her coming, she touches Bua ji's feet. Buaji ( aunt) asks Durga who she is. Durga replies that she is Veer's wife but the Bua ( aunt) presence brings back the pain Soni once endured as she insults her and says she is Veer's widow. Everyone is shocked. Aunt tells her little brother Mr. Khurana that if he say that he follow all the traditions in the house then how come Soni is roaming everywhere in the house. Her brother-in-law steps in too, she says that all the traditions and customs are gone from this house but now that she is here she will fix everything. In the aunt's room, she is telling Durga to explain to her daughter-in-law not to come in front of the guests as her shadow too is not good for others. Jeet is annoyed to hear this but Mr. Khurana says that she is very old fashioned and that they have to adjust till she is here. Durga takes tea to her and she is happy with Durga. She tells her that she is used to living in small room for 30 years and she doesn't need all this comfort. She starts poisioning Durga's mind against Soni. She says that Soni's hand has life line of her husband and she is responsible for Veers death. She says but now she have to go and see how Soni lives and behaves. Durga tries to avoid this but Bua (aunt) insists.
Buaji goes to Soni's room, she tells her to show her her room and she is very annoyed. Bua tells Soni that she is staying in such a grand room and she starts screaming on her. She tells Durga that she lost her son and she want Soni to live in such comfort. She asks the servants that Soni's room should be emptied at once and Soni is sad about this as they are taking away all her things. Her whole room is emptied and Bua tells Soni that she is a widow and the life of a widow is very bad and she have to live according to the traditions of the society and also tells her that till anybody calls her, she should not come out of the room. Durga is sad but looks on helplessly.
Mr. Khurana and Durga is in their room and they are sad at their aunt's behaviour towards Soni. Durga says that till aunt (Bua ) is here Soni will have to live like that. Mr. Khurana is also not happy with everything that is happening. He says he will go and talk to his elder sister but Durga stops him reminding him that the last time when she had visited them they had told her about Veer and Raji's wedding and the scene that she had created. But now, they are wondering what to do now and they are worried about Soni. When Mahi is cleaning up her room, she gets a call from Shabd and they share a cute scene between them. They make plans for the evening but he gets a call from his friends and Mahi makes him go with them. On the other hand, Buaji gives 2 pairs of clothes to Soni. Bua herself being a widow treating Soni in such a bad way and taunts her more about being a widow. She also gives her a mat and tells her to sleep on it. She again reminds Soni not to come out of the room. That Devarji has bad looks for Soni and tries to show sympathy towards her but Buaji takes him away. Soni is talking to Veer's picture and she tells him never to leave her side then she can go through anything.
Durga is in the kitchen filling dinner plates. But Bua comes there, she stops her to not feed lavish food to Soni. Jeet is angry. Bua tells Durga that lavish food instead should be given to her daughter and she tells them that she will tell Durga what to give to Soni. She gives her stale Rotis and stale veggies. Durga tells her that Soni is pregnant but that make no difference to Bua. She tells Durga that from tomorrow to give Soni boiled veggies and 2 stale Rotis. Durga is sad as Bua is mean to Soni without any reason. Buaji keeps the plate at Soni's doorstep and tells her to eat. Soni is sad at the treatment towards her. She looks at her mother-in-law, Durga for answers but Durga is helpless and can't do anything to help her as it was heart wrenching to see her treat Soni like that and being a widow herself she is enjoying all the liberties herself. Later in the night, while Soni is sleeping on the ground on a mat given by Bua, she is really uncomfortable. That Devarji slowly sneaks in her room with all the bad intentions and he is just about to touch Soni.
Devar ji creeping up on Soni but thankfully, Soni wakes up on time and Devar ji handles himself. He lie that he came to see if she was okay and asks her if he needs anything. She says she don't need anything. He then says he will take his leave. Devar ji says that he knows that she is not used to this type of living, so came to see if she was okay. Soni is uncomfortable throughout this whole conversation. He keeps trying to touch her. He leaves and finally Soni takes a breath of relief. She is very worried. Shabd meanwhile is partying with his friends in a club. Shabd meets his friendsand his friends tell him to drink alcohol and Shabd says that he has stopped drinking. Finally his friends persuade him to drink at least one beer. They discuss about flirting with a bunch of girls. They all are dancing to Pappu cant dance song. Shabd stops dancing and his friends decide to bring out the old Shabd out. They put something in Shabd's drink to make him go crazy. One of his friends warns Sandy, i believe that Shabd will not be able to digest it. Shabd's friends force him to drink the dirnk. A girl bumps into Shabd and someone takes a picture of that. It's the two girls that the friends were flirting with. Shabd gets dizzy, of course and his friends decide to take him home.
Mahi is at home sleeping on the couch waiting for Shabd. It's 2 in the morning and just then the doorbell rings. Mahi opens the door and the friends file in with Shabd. Mahi keeps asking what's wrong with him. Shabd says that he is fine, but just drank a little too much. He asks mahi to not be angry with him and that he had tried to tell them to not make him drink, but they did. Mahi meanwhile gets him comfortable for bed. The next morning, at Mr. Khurana's residence. Jeet tells his dad that he is not sending the consignment because the payment has not been recieved for the previous consignment. Mr. Khurana says to send it anyway and the payment will come. Buaji pounds on Soni's door and tells her to cover her head. Jeet looks on shocked. Bua ji tells her to have some water and asks her if she needs anything else. Jeet intervenes and asks what's going on? Jeet sees Soni's new room and is distressed. He asks Buaji what's going on and who did all this to Soni's room. Buaji replies that from now on she will live like that only. She tells him that the room should have been the way it is now long time ago. She tells him that Soni will live only this way. Jeet asks why? Buaji says that Jeet doesn't have sanskaar because his parents didn't teach him any. Buaji thenjoy warns Jeet that only things that she wants will happen in this household now. Jeet asks her what happiness is she receiveing by killing Soni's life? Mr. Khurana and Durga convince Jeet to leave for now. Jeet angrily leaves and Buaji yells at Soni for standing there and tells her to go inside. Buaji says that it looks like they all don't like her here. Buaji says that she will dictate the house from now.
Shabd wakes up in the morning. Mahi asks him if he has a headache, maybe its because he drank a bit too less. Shabd says that he didn't drink because he wanted to but his friends made him drink alcohol. Mahi doesn't believe him and tells him that she doesn't want to hear any excuses and tells him to go get ready. Shabd asks her to believe in him. Mahi says he needs tea and she will bring it for him. Shabd asks if she believe in him or not. Mahi says his friends didn't do right by making him drink but it was good that they dropped him off home. Mahi adds that their neighbor was saying that there was an accident last night. Shabd is alarmed and asks what accident. Mahi says that it was near green club where he was. Shabd has some flashbacks
